Afternoons at the Tree Farm

It’s almost Friday!

Last weekend I went to the tree farm to cut down my Christmas tree—a tradition that my family has upheld for as long as I can remember. When we were younger, my dad would have my brother and I pick a number (either one or two), and whoever picked right got to choose which tree we took home that year. We’d decorate it with bins full of ornaments and with White Christmas playing in the background.

I dressed comfortably since I knew I’d be trekking through the aisles looking for the best tree on the farm (a process that can take up to an hour; I take tree picking very seriously). These mom jeans are my absolute faaavorite thing right now! I have them in black too and they are seriously the comfiest jeans I’ve ever put on. Plus they’re super high-waisted, which is perfect for holding in your gains after some good ol’ holiday eating (currently thinking about honey ham and Christmas cookies).

I bought this hat from Target on impulse, but it has quickly become one of my winter accessory staples. It compliments every kind of cozy sweater, which is what I live in during the chilly season.

Sweater: Forever 21 (old, similar here)
Jeans: ASOS
Hat: Target

Outfits like this one are my go-tos during the winter because they’re so cute and cozy. What are your winter staples?

With love,
