Going to the pumpkin patch is one of my favorite fall activities. It brings back a nostalgic feeling from when my mom used to take me as a kid. Though my favorite part has shifted from the plastic pumpkin-shaped cups to the rich colors, smell of fall leaves and warm apple cider, the pumpkin patch still remains at the top of my to-do list during the cooler season.
I’ve dealt with skin issues for almost a decade now. Yes, that’s 10 whole years. My skin has seen it all— from glowing olive-toned skin to redness, and middle school acne to uneven texture in adulthood. I tried product after product to see what best suits my sensitive skin, but never found anything that made a noticeable difference in its overall appearance.
I’ve been wearing makeup for a long time. I love that you can create so many different looks with it and play up whatever feature you’re feeling that day. With makeup, however, comes a lot of money down the drain. Somewhere along the way I developed the idea that drugstore makeup was not good enough, and thus began the many, many trips I’ve made to Sephora over the years.
I always play it safe when it comes to jewelry. I don’t go for anything too big and I definitely stay away from bright colors. I’ve also, however, been trying to step out of my comfort zone and expand my wardrobe. That’s why when I saw this necklace for the first time, I knew it was the perfect piece to push my style to the limit.
